Menu Plan & Grocery Haul: Week of April 2-8

Happy April!
Easter is almost here! It is one of my favorite holidays!
Last Sunday, we went to a Easter "party".

The kids had a blast!
My oldest, Ashlynn, is a pro at Easter egg hunting. So, she was able to fill up her basket real quick.

The boys, however, only picked up a few and were content with what they got. They were more interested in seeing what was inside the eggs (and playing with cars).

As you know, yesterday was Thursday. My day to plan out my menu for the week and grocery shop.
My weekly grocery (and household items) budget is $100. But, usually, I come in under that.
This week I spent a total of $85.50.
At Sprout's I spent $34.27.

And, at HEB, $51.23

I also got a box of veggies, from a local farmer, but that was already paid for so wasn't included in this weeks budget.

So, what's on the menu this week?

Thursday (last night):
Fried fish tacos with french fries
Friday:
Homemade pizza with a side salad
Saturday:
Cheese enchiladas with rice and beans
Sunday:
*Nothing planned. Spending the day with relatives*
Monday:
Burgers with french fries
Tuesday:
Mushroom & broccoli alfredo pasta with breadsticks
Wednesday:
Chicken salad

Well, I hope everyone has a great Easter weekend!
If you have any questions (or suggestions), ask away!
